Blazers Stankoven, Bankier invited to Hockey Canada World Junior selection camp

KAMLOOPS — A pair of Kamloops Blazers forwards will be among those heading to Hockey Canada’s World Junior selection camp later this week.

Hockey Canada released its selection camp roster Monday (Dec. 5) and it includes Blazers Logan Stankoven and Caedan Bankier.

The camp runs from December 9 to 12, with the tournament itself running from December 26 to January 5 in Halifax and Moncton, Nova Scotia.

Stankoven was on the Team Canada team that won the 2022 tournament in August.

Stankoven and Bankier will join 2023 top NHL amateur draft prospects Connor Bedard and Adam Fantilli.
