WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — A snowfall warning is in effect for the Cariboo from Tuesday (Nov. 29) night to Wednesday (Nov. 30) morning.

In an online weather statement, Environment Canada says around 10 to 15 centimetres of snow is expected for 100 Mile and north Cariboo – including Quesnel – and the south Cariboo – including Williams Lake.

Heavy snow and local blowing snow are expected to cause poor travel conditions.

According to the weather agency, it’s due to a low-pressure system that will approach the South Coast Tuesday and spread to the Interior overnight.
