KAMLOOPS — A snowfall warning is in effect for Kamloops and area from Tuesday (Nov. 29) night to Wednesday (Nov. 30) morning.

In an online weather statement, Environment Canada says around 10 to 15 centimetres of snow is expected for the North Thompson, South Thompson and the Coquihalla Highway from Hope to Kamloops. Heavy snow and local blowing snow are expected to cause poor travel conditions.

According to the weather agency, it’s due to a low-pressure system that will approach the South Coast Tuesday and spread to the Interior overnight.

Travellers are asked to adjust their driving with changing road conditions.
