Mechanical issues force temporary cancellation of garbage collection in Quesnel

QUESNEL, B.C. — Bad news for garbage collection in Quesnel.
The City says residential garbage pick-up has been cancelled for the rest of the week due to mechanical issues.
A City news release says this week’s garbage will be picked up next week starting Tuesday, December 6. The City will resume regularly scheduled collection on Tuesday, December 13.
If needed, the City asks that you bring your garbage to the Quesnel Landfill from Tuesday to Sunday from 8 am – 6 pm. The City says this does not affect your regular recycling pick-up by Emterra Environmental.
