CALGARY — A Kamloops Minor Hockey product scored three goals and added a pair of assists for the University of Calgary Dinos over the weekend. That performance earned Max Patterson Canada West Men’s Hockey Player of the Week honours.

Patterson, who played for four different WHL teams — Kootenay, Swift Current, Seattle and Everett — now suits up for the U of C Dinos.

He scored two goals and had one assist in a 4-0 Dinos victory over the University of Alberta last Friday. In the Saturday rematch, Patterson had a goal and an assist in the Dinos’ 3-2 win over the Golden Bears.

Patterson, who is in his second year with the University of Calgary, has nine goals and nine assists, which has helped the Dinos on the team’s current 11-game win streak.
