Kamloops sports collide as WolfPack men’s soccer squad honoured at Blazers game
KAMLOOPS — It was a special night for the Kamloops sports scene as the Thompson Rivers University (TRU) WolfPack Men’s Soccer team was honoured by the Kamloops Blazers at centre ice.
The Blazers recognized the WolfPack following the team’s USports National Championship title win on November 13.
Performing a ceremonial puck drop, the WolfPack squad got a loud ovation from the crowd at the Blazers-Warriors game Friday (November 26) evening congratulating the team on their accomplishment.
The WolfPack became the first time in program history to win a national championship and did so on home turf.
