TNRD removes interim tag off chief financial officer Carla Fox
KAMLOOPS — The Thompson-Nicola Regional District (TNRD) hired a new chief financial officer (CFO).
In a news release Wednesday (Nov. 23), the TNRD says new CFO Carla Fox has been promoted to the position permanently after serving as the interim CFO since September. She was hired by the TNRD in June 2022 as its deputy director of finance.
“We are thrilled to have Carla bring her leadership and experience to this key position in the TNRD’s finance department,” Scott Hildebrand, TNRD chief administrative officer says. “Carla’s expertise will be important as we continue to strengthen our financial policies and as we look ahead to the creation of our new Strategic Plan.”
The TNRD says Fox’s experience includes more than 15 years of holding senior management positions in local government, and a combined 25 years of experience working in government, industry and not-for-profit settings.
