Snowfall warning for Coquihalla Highway, North Thompson, and Shuswap: Environment Canada

KAMLOOPS — Heavy snow is forecast for the Coquihalla Highway from Merritt to Hope Tuesday (Nov. 22).

In a snowfall warning on its website, Environment Canada says around 15 to 20 centimetres of snow is expected for the Coquihalla Summit, along with areas in the Columbia regions.

Meanwhile, heavy snow is also forecast for the North Thompson and Shuswap. Environment Canada says areas such as Clearwater and Salmon Arm can expect 10 to 15 centimetres of snow.

Additionally, around 10 to 15 centimetres of snow is expected in the Cariboo, including Quesnel and Williams Lake.
