Pedestrian killed in collision with transport truck near Logan Lake Friday
LOGAN LAKE, B.C. — RCMP say a pedestrian was killed near Logan Lake last Friday (Nov. 18) when he was hit by a transport truck.
In a news release, RCMP spokesman Alex Berube says the incident happened at about 5:40 p.m. Friday on Highway 97C.
Investigators say the victim was driving a Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck. Before the collision took place, he pulled the truck over to the shoulder and got out.
The eastbound transport truck driver noticed the man walking across the highway but was unable to avoid striking him.
