KAMLOOPS — A 26-year-old Kamloops man was arrested after a robbery in downtown Kamloops Sunday (Nov. 20) morning.

In a news release issued Tuesday (Nov. 22), Kamloops RCMP say they were called to a business on the 600-block of Seymour Street at around 5:20 a.m. where the man allegedly stole items, then showed what appeared to be a firearm when confronted by staff.

“Police obtained a suspect description and relayed it to officers on patrol,” Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says. “A suspect was located near Battle Street and Third Avenue within minutes of police attendance and was quickly arrested without incident.”

Noel Albert Larkin remains in custody as his matter is before the courts.
