Public invited back to Riverside Park for 2022 Remembrance Day ceremony

KAMLOOPS — After two years of invite-only ceremonies, the public will be invited back to mark Remembrance Day in Kamloops Friday (Nov. 11).

The Kamloops Legion will hold the ceremony at Riverside Park.

Legion President Daniel Martin says people should be gathering at the park by 10:30 a.m. There will be bleacher-style stands set up in the park, as well as several dozen chairs for veterans who wish to be seated during the ceremony.

The parade will begin at 10:45 a.m., followed by two minutes of silence at 11:00 a.m. sharp.
