KAMLOOPS — An impaired Alberta man was arrested after what police called a “dangerous and reckless” three-hour trip through the B.C. Interior.

RCMP received numerous calls regarding the truck as it travelled from Kamloops to Golden along Highway 1. According to Highway Patrol, some callers reported it speeding, some reported it passing illegally, and others reported it tailgating dangerously.
At one point, Highway Patrol says an officer saw the truck travelling 135 km/h in a 50 km/h zone. Further along the highway, another officer clocked the driver doing 118 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.
