KFR crews douse grass fire near Columbia St

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Fire Rescue (KFR) attended the scene of an interface grass fire off of Columbia St W Saturday (October 29) afternoon.

Shortly after 3:15 p.m., two engines responded to a call of an apparent grass fire.

Crews made quick work of the fire and managed to put it out within 30 minutes.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

More information will be provided when it’s made available.
