Biker dies in Salmon Arm crash

SALMON ARM, B.C. — A motorcyclist is dead following a collision in Salmon Arm Saturday night (Oct. 15).
RCMP say the single vehicle crash occurred in the 300 block of Salmon River Road at approximately 8:20 p.m.
Police, fire, and ambulance crews attended the scene where, despite life saving efforts by both bystanders and first responders, the bike operator died.
The RCMP say the investigation into the crash shows the male rider failed to negotiate a ninety-degree left turn while traveling north and left on the roadway.
