BARRIERE, B.C. — Two of the six incumbents have been unseated in the race for Barriere council.

After Saturday’s (Oct. 15) votes were tabulated, incumbents Scott Kershaw, Rob Kerslake, Donna Kibble and Judy Armstrong were all re-elected. Alan Fortin and Amanda Sabyan were not returned to council.

The newcomers around the council table are Louise Lodge and Colin McInnis.

Ward Stamer’s return to the mayor’s chair was not in doubt. He was acclaimed as the only person to file for candidacy.
