After a heartbreaking defeat in 2018, Lepsoe comes out on top in Chase

CHASE, B.C. — David Lepsoe got the job done in Chase.
Lepsoe, who came within 11 votes of the mayor’s chair in 2018, was elected this year, finishing with 52.9 per cent of the vote Saturday (Oct. 15).
Lepsoe defeated Steve Scott (41.6 per cent) and Allen Fenton (3.7 per cent).
The four-member council will consist of incumbent Fred Torbohm and newcomers Jane Herman, Colin Connett and Ron Harder.
