KAMLOOPS — RCMP say a man in a Halloween mask robbed a Sahali gas station Wednesday night (Oct. 13).

In a news release, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says police were called to a gas station in the 900-block of Columbia Street West at about 10:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Witnesses said a suspect entered the shop, produced a knife and demanded cash. The suspect made off with chocolate bars, energy drinks, beef jerky and lighters, taking off on foot toward Summit Drive.

“Police are still looking for the suspect who was described as wearing all black clothing, a white Halloween mask, gloves, and what appeared to be a wig,” said Evelyn.
