Williams Lake RCMP searching for missing 49-year-old woman

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — Williams Lake RCMP are seeking public assistance in finding a missing 49-year-old woman.

In a news release issued Friday (Oct. 7) morning, RCMP say Brenda Polischuk was reported missing on Wednesday (Oct. 5) after her caretakers had not seen or heard from her since Sept. 23, 2022.

Polischuk is described as an Indigenous woman with black hair, standing 5’5” tall and weighing 201 lbs.

Investigators believe that Polischuk may be in the Vancouver area.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Brenda Polischuk is asked to contact their local police or B.C. Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
