Advance Polls open for Kamloops Municipal election

KAMLOOPS – The first ballots in the 2022 civic election are being cast today in Kamloops as Advance Polls opened up in two locations in the city.

Polling stations at Heritage House on Lorne Street and at the McArthur Island Sports Centre Lounge opened at 8 a.m. this morning (Oct 5) and will remain open until 8 p.m.

Advance polls are also planned for Saturday, October 8 and Wednesday, October 12 at the same locations. The polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day.

Election day is Saturday, October 15. Residents will be electing one mayor, eight councillors and five SD #73 trustees.
