Gun, drugs, bear spray seized in Dallas traffic stop

KAMLOOPS — An RCMP officer on the lookout for unlicensed and impaired drivers Friday night (Sept. 30) found more than she bargained for.

In a news release, RCMP say the officer was patrolling just before midnight near Kokanee Way when she saw drugs and related paraphernalia inside a vehicle. Further search resulted in the seizures a suspected firearm, bear spray and ammunition.

A woman was arrested and then released with a court date.
