North Shore pedestrian injured in Wednesday morning collision

KAMLOOPS — A person in their 40s was sent to hospital after being struck by a vehicle underneath the Tranquille overpass Wednesday (Sept. 28) morning.

Kamloops RCMP told CFJC Today two pedestrians were attempting to cross Fortune Drive where one of them was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound. Kamloops Fire Rescue and ambulance also attended.

RCMP say the person in their 40s is believed to have minor injuries.
