RCMP investigating second stabbing on the North Shore in two weeks
KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are looking for witnesses after a man was sent to hospital with serious stab wounds on the North Shore Monday (Sept. 26) night.
In a news release issued Tuesday morning, RCMP say officers responded to a parking lot on the 700-block of Sydney Avenue at around 10:15 p.m. where the man was found with non-life-threatening injuries.
Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says while it’s still early in the investigation, RCMP believe Monday’s stabbing is not random, but not related to the stabbing near Northills Shopping Centre last week.
“In follow-up to last week’s stabbing, a suspect was identified and arrested, and charge recommendation is anticipated,” Evelyn says.
