Williams Lake RCMP look into weekend robbery

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — RCMP would like your help solving a violent robbery in Williams Lake.

In a brief news release, Williams Lake RCMP said the incident happened early Saturday morning, some time between 5:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. Officers were called to a residential area near the intersection of Western Avenue and Pigeon Avenue.

“The investigation continues and we are asking anyone with information to call police,” said Staff Sgt. Del Byron, Williams Lake RCMP Operations NCO.

The news release does not describe who was robbed, what was taken, or in what way violence was involved.
