RCMP on the lookout for suspects in knifepoint robbery of Tranquille Road convenience store
KAMLOOPS — RCMP are asking the public to take a look at a surveillance photo as they try to identify two suspects in a Kamloops North Shore robbery Wednesday (Sept. 21).
In a news release, Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says the incident happened at a convenience store in the 1700-block of Tranquille Road. Officers responded at around 6:30 p.m. to a call of a knifepoint robbery.
“The two men captured in this image allegedly entered the store, picked up some items, then left without paying,” said Evelyn. “When the employee confronted them just outside of the store, one of the suspects produced a knife and pointed it at them, then left in the direction of Nicolani Drive. Despite significant patrols in the area, police did not locate the two men and are asking for the public’s help to identify them.”
