Lac La Hache pot dispensary shut down, $220,000 in products seized

LAC LA HACHE, B.C. — Various law enforcement agencies teamed up to shut down an alleged illegal cannabis dispensary in Lac La Hache Wednesday (Sept. 21).

In a news release, 100 Mile House RCMP say B.C. Community Safety Unit took the lead in the enforcement action, which resulted in police seizing $60,000 in illegal cannabis products and another $160,000 in illegal tobacco products.

“The 100 Mile House RCMP continues enforcement efforts directed at illegal cannabis activities in our area,” said Acting Detachment Commander Sgt. Brad McKinnon.

Anyone with further information on illegal cannabis growing and distribution in the area is asked to contact 100 Mile House RCMP at (250) 395-2456 or Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 222-8477.
