Eight current Blazers, four alumni from 2021-22 team attending NHL camps

KAMLOOPS — As the Kamloops Blazers continue their Western Hockey League (WHL) exhibition schedule, eight of their players are attending NHL training camps.

The Blazers say the following players are away as they enter their final week of the WHL preseason:

  • Forward Drew Englot, 20, Colorado Avalanche
  • Forward Daylan Kuefler, 20, New York Islanders
  • Forward Caedan Bankier, 19, Minnesota Wild
  • Defenceman Kyle Masters, 19, Minnesota Wild
  • Forward Logan Stankoven, 19, Dallas Stars,
  • Forward Matthew Seminoff, 19, Dallas Starts,
  • Forward Fraser Minten, 18, Toronto Maple Leafs
  • Goaltender Dylan Ernst, 18, Carolina Hurricanes

Elsewhere, the Blazers have four alumni from the 2021-22 WHL season attending NHL camps: goaltender Dylan Garand (New York Rangers), defenceman Quinn Schmiemann and Viktor Persson (Vancouver Canucks) and forward Luke Toporowski (Boston Bruins).
