Rural SD73 trustee candidates to be acclaimed; Kamloops voters to choose from 11 candidates
KAMLOOPS — While rural voters will have no choices to make for the Kamloops-Thompson School District Board of Education, Kamloops voters will have plenty of choices.
Incumbent trustees will be acclaimed in the areas of Barriere (Rhonda Kershaw), Chase and Sun Peaks (Diane Jules), Clearwater (Shelley Sim), and Logan Lake and Savona (Cara McKelvey).
There are 11 candidates for five City of Kamloops trustee seats, including incumbents Heather Grieve, Kathleen Karpuk and John O’Fee. Incumbents Joe Small and Meghan Wade have chosen not to run for re-election.
