Pinkney to be acclaimed mayor of 100 Mile House; Barnett among seven council candidates

100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — The new mayor of 100 Mile House after the October 15 election will be sitting councillor Maureen Pinkney.
Pinkney was the only candidate to allow her name to stand for mayor, with incumbent Mitch Campsall choosing not to run again.
The district has seven candidates for four council seats, including the remaining three incumbents: Ralph Fossum, Dave Mingo and Chris Pettman.
