Man found in Salmon Arm allegedly beat-up and abducted by suspects in Armstrong
VERNON, B.C. — RCMP are looking to talk to any witnesses after a man was allegedly assaulted and abducted by three suspects in Armstrong.
On Saturday, Sept. 3, police responded to a report of an injured man who was found in a rural area of Salmon Arm.
“Investigators learned that earlier that morning, at approximately 12:15 a.m., the victim, a 27-year-old man, left the Interior Provincial Exhibition grounds and was walking on Okanagan Street in Armstrong when a vehicle pulled up and stopped behind him. Three men got out of the vehicle and assaulted the man repeatedly before forcing him into the vehicle and driving away,” Cst. Chris Terleski, media relations officer said.
Terleski said the victim was dropped off at a location in the Salmon Arm area where he was found by a member of the public who called for help.
