RCMP seek Kamloops man for violating court orders
KAMLOOPS – Kamloops RCMP are asking for the public’s help to locate 37-year-old Brandon Butterfield. The Kamloops resident is wanted on four outstanding warrants including assault with a weapon.
Butterfield is wanted in connection with an incident August 24 when he allegedly violated a court order. Out of respect for the victim, police are not releasing details of the incident. However RCMP Staff Sergeant Janelle Shoihet said “we can confirm that the victim was known to the Butterfield.”
Police describe Butterfield as being 5’6”, 141 lbs, with brown hair and blue eyes. He has a series of tattoos including tears and a treble clef on his forehead. Butterfield also has a grim reaper on his left arm, a spider web on his left hand, and a bird with an arrow through it on the back his neck.
Mounties say Butterfield could be in the Kamloops but say he may have travelled elsewhere in the province, likely in a green 1999 Volkswagen Golf.
