Owner of stolen truck and trailer thankful for support of Kamloops residents

KAMLOOPS — A family visiting Kamloops has every reason to have a sour memory of Kamloops.
While travelling from Ontario to Vancouver Island, the family stopped in our city Monday night. When they woke up the next morning, their truck and cargo trailer had been stolen.
They say RCMP were able to recover the trailer. It had been damaged but was still roadworthy.
They were told by police their truck had been spotted being used in a number of bicycle thefts around the city. The truck is described as a 2005 Ford 250 pickup. It’s light brown and has Ontario licence plates.
