Kamloops-based Pattison Media purchases two Brandon radio stations

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops-based Pattison Media is growing its radio family.
The company has announced the acquisition of two radio stations in Brandon, Manitoba — Q Country 91.5 and 94.7 Star FM — from Westman Communication.
Adding the two stations doubles the Pattison Media contingent in Manitoba to four, with the other two stations located in Winnipeg. It brings the complement of properties within Pattison Media to 48 radio stations, along with three television stations and 19 online news portals.
“We are very pleased to be adding such valuable and locally supportive properties to our 48 stations,” said Pattison Media President Rod Schween in a news release. “We look forward to continuing to build this great community and supporting the initiatives that make Brandon unique.”
