Williams Lake couple arrested after alleged bar assault

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — Williams Lake RCMP say they arrested a couple after they allegedly assaulted bar staff in the city.

In a news release Monday (Aug. 8) morning, RCMP say they responded to a bar on Oliver Street just before 10 p.m. on Friday (Aug. 5). Police say they arrested a 39-year-old man and 38-year-old woman, both from Williams Lake, and assault charges have been approved.
