NorthPaws clinch playoff berth, will host game one Tuesday

KAMLOOPS – Playoff baseball is coming to Kamloops.

While they dropped their final game of the 2022 West Coast League (WCL) season 7-3 to the Bellingham Bells Sunday (Aug. 7), the Kamloops NorthPaws clinched a playoff berth with a 7-2 win in Bellingham the night prior.

In their inaugural season, the NorthPaws finished with a 26-27 record and secured the third seed in the North Division bracket.

The NorthPaws will begin a best-of-three first round series against the Wenatchee AppleSox Tuesday (Aug. 9) from Norbrock Stadium in Kamloops. First pitch is at 6:35 p.m.
