NorthPaws end home schedule with B.C. Cup, 5-3 win over Kelowna
KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops NorthPaws ended the home portion of their inaugural season on a high note.
The Paws defeated the Kelowna Falcons 5-3 at their home closer from Norbrock Stadium Thursday (Aug. 4) and clinched the inaugural B.C. Cup.
The B.C. Cup is a friendly head-to-head in season competition between all four B.C.-based teams in Kamloops, Kelowna, Nanaimo, and Victoria, and their respective mayors. The Paws went 12-6 against B.C. teams during the 2022 West Coast League (WCL) season.
Moving to their last series in the 2022 WCL season, the math is simple for the Paws: win one out of their last three games and they’ll earn a playoff spot.
