Kamloops man arrested on suspicion of robbery in Sahali

KAMLOOPS – One man has been arrested and is in custody following a robbery at a retail store in the 900 block of Columbia Street West.
Police say the suspect walked into the store around 2:30 yesterday (Aug. 3) and was caught stealing. When confronted by an employee, the suspect produced a weapon.
Officers located the suspect and arrested him nearby. The 27 year-old Kamloops man was scheduled to appear in court today.
