Kamloops RCMP searching for suspect in assault at Hillside Drive business
KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect in an assault investigation at a business along Hillside Drive.
In a news release issued Tuesday (July 26) morning, RCMP say they were called to a store on the 1000-block of Hillside Drive on July 14, where a man had allegedly struck an employee in the head and injured him after being asked to leave.
“The incident was captured on security surveillance, allowing police to secure an image of the suspect,” Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says. “We are releasing the image with the hope of identifying the man pictured to help further the investigation.”
The suspect is described as a white man standing approximately 5’8” and wearing a blue cap with white writing, a green sleeveless shirt, and black pants.
