100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — The emergency department at the 100 Mile District General Hospital will be closed overnight this weekend according to a news release from Interior Health (IH).
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday (July 22 to 24) the ER will close at 8 p.m. and reopen the next morning at 8 a.m.
IH says the closure is due to “limited physician availability”.
Those in need of emergency care while the department is closed are asked to call 9-1-1 or visit the emergency room at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops or at Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake.
