Kamloops man finishes seventh, walks away with $1.35 million at World Series of Poker

LAS VEGAS — A Kamloops man is leaving the World Series of Poker event in Las Vegas $1.35 million richer.
Aaron Duczak busted out of the tournament Friday (July 15) finishing in seventh place.
Duczak was one of ten players who remained on Friday at the $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event World Championship at the 2022 World Series of Poker.
The tournament started with 8,663 players and the winner of the Main Event gets $10 million. Even the tenth-place finisher is guaranteed $675,000.
