Kamloops RCMP searching for three suspects in downtown robbery
KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are searching for a trio of suspects after a woman reported she was robbed downtown last week.
Police say the woman was walking to her vehicle on Victoria Street between Fourth and Sixth Avenue just after midnight on Thursday (July 7) where she was allegedly pushed down and assaulted by two men and robbed of the items she was carrying. A woman was also with the two men.
RCMP say the suspects fled on foot towards Lansdowne Street.
“There are a number of businesses in and around that area,” Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says. “It is our hope that someone’s video surveillance captured something that will help us identify the suspects.”
