Interface fire ignites near Inks Lake Road south of Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — UPDATE (3:50 p.m.): Kamloops Fire Rescue says the fire is now under control.

EARLIER: Kamloops Fire Rescue crews are on scene of an interface fire just south of Aberdeen.

The blaze broke out at about 2:20 p.m., near Inks Lake Road and Lac le Jeune Road.

A private water truck is helping fire crews.
