KAMLOOPS — Canadian Pacific Railway (CP) says the derailment of one of its trains carrying grain in the Mission Flats area in Kamloops Wednesday afternoon (July 13) is under investigation.
In a statement, CP says there were no injuries, and no hazardous goods were aboard the train near the former city works yard in Mission Flats.
The westbound train – approximately 7,000-feet long – was leaving the city when 14 grain cars derailed.
