Following draft, Minten added to World Junior summer development camp

KAMLOOPS — It’s been a pretty good week for Blazers forward Fraser Minten.

After being selected 38th overall in the second round at Friday’s NHL Entry Draft, the Vancouver native has been invited to Team Canada’s World Junior summer development camp July 23-27 in Calgary.

Hockey Canada announced on Tuesday the addition of Minten, bringing the total number of players invited to the camp to 48. He had 20 goals and 35 assists during the regular season before adding another six goals and 10 assists in the playoffs.

Blazers head coach and GM Shaun Clouston will be a coach at the camp.
