Two Kamloops squads claim gold at home at BC Soccer provincial cup

KAMLOOPS — Two local squads were poor hosts, as the Kamloops Youth Soccer Association (KYSA) U15 and U17 squads captured gold medals at the BC Soccer Les Sinnott Memorial Boys Provincial Cup, played in Kamloops over the weekend.

In the U15 Championship game, the Kamloops Blaze topped the Saanich Fusion 3-2 to claim gold.

In the U17 Championship game, the Blaze dominated on the scoresheet, with a 4-0 shutout of Cliff Avenue United FC to claim the title.

In the other divisions, the U16 Blaze finished 4th, the U13th Blaze finished 5th, the U14 Blaze finished 6th and the U18 Blaze came in 7th.
