KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Blazers have 13 players from their 2021-22 roster attending NHL development camps this week.

Four of the 13 players were recently selected in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft: Fraser Minten is with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Mats Lindgren is with the Buffalo Sabres, Daylan Kuefler is with the New York Islanders and Matthew Seminoff is with the Dallas Stars.

Five of the Blazers’ attendees were previously drafted: Dylan Garand (2020) is with the New York Rangers, Viktor Persson (2020) is with the Vancouver Canucks, Logan Stankoven (2021) is with the Stars and Caedan Bankier (2021) is with the Minnesota Wild. While Quinn Schmiemann (2019) was drafted by the Tampa Bay Lightning, he signed an American Hockey League contract with the Abbotsford Canucks and is attending camp in Vancouver.

Meanwhile, four Blazers who went undrafted or graduated from major junior hockey also received camp invites: Ethan Brandwood joins Seminoff and Stankoven with the Stars, Luke Toporowski is with the Boston Bruins, Drew Englot is with the Colorado Avalanche and Dylan Ernst is with the Carolina Hurricanes.
