ER CLOSURE

Clearwater ER closed until Monday morning

UPDATE (5:15 a.m.): In a social media post late Sunday evening, Interior Health states the emergency department in Clearwater will resume regular hours at 7 p.m. on Monday. It’s 12 hours longer than Interior Health originally stated.

EARLIER: CLEARWATER — The emergency department in Clearwater is closed from Sunday (July 10) to Monday (July 11) at 7 a.m.

Clearwater and area residents are advised of the temporary change to the ER hours at Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital due to limited staffing availability.

Interior Health says In the event of an emergency, call 911.
