Small fire sparked in hills above Westsyde Thursday

KAMLOOPS — B.C. Wildfire Service personnel are en route to a small fire apparently started by this afternoon’s lightning in the Kamloops area.

Fire Information Officer Ayden Coray says smoke is visible in the hills above Westsyde, 10 kilometres north of the Kamloops city centre.

Coray says four BCWS personnel are en route.
