TAPPEN, B.C. — A man from Tappen was at home with his wife when he discovered his Lotto 6/49 ticket for the June 8 draw was a guaranteed $1 million winner.
Larry Anderson purchased his ticket from the Blind Bay Village Grocer in Shuswap.
“My wife saw something on Facebook that said there was a winner in our area,” Anderson says. “I hadn’t really thought about what I would do if I won.”
Anderson says he informed his wife and children about the $1 million winner. He says he plans to take his time in figuring out what to do with the prize money.
