RCMP watchdog investigating death at North Shore bus loop

KAMLOOPS — The Independent Investigations Office (IIO) of BC is investgating a man’s death earlier last week and whether police action or inaction played a role.

On Tuesday (June 28) at around 5 p.m. a man spoke to RCMP after noticing some people who appeared to be unconscious at the North Shore bus loop.

Around two hours later, Emergency Health Services requested assistance from Kamloops RCMP for a “possible sudden death” at the bus loop.
