NorthPaws fall to Black Bears 13-4 Friday
KAMLOOPS — In the first of the weekend series, the Kamloops NorthPaws fell to the Cowlitz Black Bears 13-4 Friday (July 1).
The visiting Black Bears opened the scoring in the game leading by a run after the second inning.
NorthPaws’ Félix Chénier-Rondeau hit a solo homer, his fourth of the season – good for a tie for third in the West Coast League home run leaders.
Black Bears’ Calyn Halvorson hit a two-run double which eventually led to multiple runs coming in to push the lead to 5-1.
